Protection of Skin

• Do not point the laser beam on persons, except patient, be aware of reflections
• Do not point the laser beam easy flammable objects, moisture such materials
• Do not use easily flammable materials before or during the laser treatment if possible. Do not use or store such materials in the laser area at all, otherwise just minimal amounts no explosive surrounding has to be developed

Protection of Patients

• Use goggles or protected covers for the eyes (except Ophthalmology)
• Cover tissue that is not to be treated with moistured materials
• Take care of effective suction of developing smoke
• Adapt the parameters carefully not to cause any injury
